TUM's maypole

According to Bavarian tradition, a Maypole (“Maibaum”) is erected at the beginning of May, an event accompanied by much partying. The TUM Student Council shows its solidarity with the university in keeping with this tradition and following the theme “At home in Bavaria, successful in the world”: True international spirit of course means connecting home with the world.

Our festival has gained great popularity over the last three years, a fact which is clearly demonstrated by the crowded festival tents. Whether born-and-bred Bavarian or international exchange student: Everyone is invited to join the celebration!
